300 Minutes Danger Book - Reflection

For our wananga class we have been spending 30 minutes silent reading. The book that I chose is the "300 Minutes Danger". This book was released on year 2015, I choose this book because the title caught my attention. This book is about 10 brave kids that are trying to escape in a very dangerous situation within 30 minutes. On the first part of the story, and one of the kids that stuck in the dangerous situation is the kid that needed to survive in a plane crash.

The kid was stuck in plane and the pilot. In this situation they only have a chance to survive if they jump and used the parachute. The pilot jumped and left the kid behind., the kids parachute was damaged by the rat. He doesn't have any choice so he jumped and use his snowboard when he was about to land. The kid is lucky that he survive and be able to control his speed. That's the first part of the story and I am really excited to read more. 

Reflection - Critical Litaracy

In our wananga class we have been learning about our self identity. We have been doing different activities to know our passion, strengths and weakness. We watched a video of Pat Ho talking about his passion, weakness, strengths and more. He also gave the viewers some advice. Pat Ho said " Don't let anything on your way". After watching the video we did a little summarizing about it. 

Also we did the same thing to us. We tried to think what is our passion, strengths and weakness. We are having a hard time to think what is my passion, strengths and weakness. I enjoyed learning about this because it makes me learn and think about myself more. It helps me to know whats my passion, strengths and weakness.

The Skyscraper Trailer

On the trailer of Skyscraper, directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber you can see on the trailer that the movie will be all about a skyscraper. Even the title gave us the idea of it, the trailer shows the character and some clips that we will see in the movie. This way we have a conclusion about what can happened in the movie.

We can see that the character have a stable and good life. His family is safe not until he met the owner of that skyscraper. We can also see that the other characters in the trailer say some things that make the trailer more exciting.

I believe this trailer is showing us that the character's family and himself got in danger because pf the clips that we saw on the trailer. We saw many other clips that gave us an idea about the movie.
