Writing Challenge

A beautiful view of mountain and trees that we can see. There are big and beautiful shapes of mountains with different types of trees.  Different sizes of boats, blue clear water and clean water are the best things that really pretty. Ella sat on the boat because of the beautiful view that she can see from there, she smile and relaxing while scanning the beautiful place. 

Ella was enjoying her vacation because she did a lot of work so she decided to have some time to relax herself. She went here to spend her weekend alone because she thinks that being alone a best way to relax. She start to drive the boat and started to scan the place while smiling to the other people that she can see while wondering. She changed her clothes and jumped into the water to swim, she enjoyed it because the temperature of the water made her feel relaxed.

Swimming happily, enjoying the water, Ella suddenly saw a little girl fall from the boat and got shocked. The parents can't help their child because they don't know how to swim. Ella hesitated to help her since Ella is just learning some few lessons about swimming. She can hear the parents crying and asking for help but she can't do anything because she's scared.

Ella closed her eyes and take a deep breathe, she start to swim towards the girl and hoping the she can save her. Ella successfully bring the little girl back into the boat and the girl stop crying. The parents of the girl thank her and offer her a money but she refused it because she just did the right thing. They chat for awhile and Ella start to swim back to her boat, she's still shocked about what happened but she just ignore it and enjoy the rest of her vacation.

Badminton Competition

Last week on  Monday we start to do our competition in Badminton, I am one of the year 7/8 participant for our badminton competition. We did our competition at Zhu Badminton Center, you can find this badminton center at Wigram. Before we go to this competition we start to have some training here at school, we have practice at Monday lunch time and Wednesday after school. Most of our players is a Filipino student here in Hornby.

We have some practice for almost a month and our coach start to make a group for our competition. At my group I have Janel, Lhysette and me, every group need to have 3 members. At the day of our competition we left at school before 8 so we can arrived early at the Badminton Center.

There are also different school that we are going play with. At the first day we played against 4 different teams from different schools. I won all of my game at singles and doubles, after our game we start to meet other student from other school and that't really cool because I make new friends.

At Tuesday we did the same thing but this is the last day of our competition so they also gonna tell us the winner for our competition. The mix team is got the 3rd place, the boys team got the 2nd place and our team girls team got the 1st place for this competition. I really enjoy this competition and I think I'm gonna join at badminton again next year.

Get to know me

Kamusta, I'm Shiela, I'm 13 years old. I make this blog post to introduce myself to others that don't know me well. We made this blog post to help Ms. Birtch to know us in a simple way and also our other classmates that don't know about us that good. Here are my introduction and my hobbies that I love to do.

• I just got here in New Zealand last year and start to go to school this year so I don't have a lot friends, because I study at the Philippines till I got year 7.

• I love playing badminton, in fact I am one of the lucky student that going in the tournament to represent our school. I learn how to play badminton because my sister taught me how to play. 

• I like watching scary movie if I have free time and if I don't have anything to do. I like to watch this with my sister but if my parents is have a free time they also joining with us watching some movies.

• I like k-pop and watching some k-dramas, I used to go to BTS concert it the Philippines, this group is my favourite group in k-pop. My friends are also like them. We really like their songs and they are good at dancing. That's why I like them. This is one of their song that I love to listen.

• I am the youngest to the three of us. I have a big brother but he is in the Philippines to study his collage and my older sister is also studying here in Hornby High, she is studying as a year 12 student here.

• I love eating sushi, I always buy some if I have extra money. I like them because they are delicious. 

• I also love reading wattpad because some of the stories their in interesting and my friends is giving me some suggestion about some stories that they read at wattpad. 

• I used to study on one of the province in the Philippines before I moved to Manila when I was studying as a year 6. We moved to Manila because my brother need to study in collage.

• I also love listening to some of the Filipino songs because they are so good and some of the singer is writing their own song and it's really nice. But I really like listening to Justin Bieber songs. This song is nothing like us by Justin Bieber.

Today our teachers gave us a task and this task is kinda hard because you need to make a twenty-five poem, this poem is a type of poem that you need to make a poem using the 25 words that they gave you. This will take some time because while doing this poem you can't add any other words and you can only use the 25 poem. This is the words that we need to use for our poem.
