Music Suite Visit

On week 8 my class and the other class have a chance to go to the music room in our school. We are all exciter because we got a chance to play and learn how to play the different instrument and we really enjoy it. Our teacher divide us into 2 group so we don't have to go there as a big group. The first group is with Mrs: Allan Fletcher on period three and they go to music room to have some time there, and other which is my group go to the music room on period 4. Once we got here we meet Mrs: Beer she in one of the teacher on the music room. The first activity we did a quiz, for this quiz the number of the correct answers that we have is also the number of the stomp that we are gonna get once we've the quiz. We need to give it to Mrs: Beer our paper so she can check it for us and she is also the one that giving us some stomp.

While doing this quiz this is also the chance that we can play some different instrument, first I played the keyboard each keyboard already have a headphones there. It also have the instruction for the song 'Havana' if you follow the notes you will learn how to play it. Also at the other practice rooms we saw some of the different types of drums and guitar. I tried to play some of them and I really enjoy it because I have a chance to try some new things and try some of the different types of instrument that I don't have a chance play before. Composing Song - 'Shadow'

For our music we did a interesting and nice task. Our teacher said that we need to compose or make our own song and make our own lyrics. On this activity we can picked what genre that we want to use for our song and what lyrics we want to write for our lyrics, also while doing this we can have a inspiration that we want to use so we can think easily about the lyrics base on our inspiration. Our lyrics that we made has to have a 2 verses and 1 chorus. While doing this lyrics at first I don't have any idea what lyrics I should right but I use my inspiration so I can have some idea that I can use for my lyrics. My inspiration is 'Depression' I picked this inspiration because I can relate and I use my feelings while I'm depressed to write a lyrics. This is my lyrics.

I really enjoy this task because I learn something new and now I know what do I need to do first before I write a song and the steps to have a nice lyrics for my songs. I hope you enjoy reading the lyrics that I made.

Music Hurumanu - Different Instruments

Today for our music hurumanu our teacher gave us a task to right the definition of the different instrumental families. We need to right the definition using our own words to prove that we know  the definition of these instrument. I make a slides to represent my work. We also did this slides so that we can put it to our blog and to share our own definition about different instrument families.
