My Year 9 Goal Setting

On week 2 we started to do our goal setting for this year. For this blog we will share our goal and the achievements that we want to achieve this year. I have a lot of goal and achievements that I want to get for this year. I wanted to get a award in academic and non-academic award. I will do my best to achieve my goal and to get the awards that I want to get for this school year, and I will try my best to improve some of my learning that I learned last year.

 

    

I want to achieve academics award or non- academic award. I like to achieve a awards like First in Science, Best In Health because I really love those subjects. I want to be able to play in badminton competition this year and to win it . Also I want to improve some of my knowledge this year because I know that it can help me a l lot specially there few more years before I went in senor high school. I want to work on my confidence so I can present in front of the whole class and to have a confidence to do more work. Also I am willing to help my classmates and other student if they need help and be kind. I also want to participate in Badminton Competition this year to improve my skills and also I wanted to do badminton not just this year but the whole year that I'm spending here in Hornby High. I have a lot of goal for this year and I will try my best to reach them and I will try my best to achieve the awards that I want to get for this year.

Entrepreneurs

On Tuesday we start doing a research about entrepreneurs, we have our choice what kind of presentation we want to use for this activity. Also it's our choice whose entrepreneur we want to search about. For this research I decided to do some research about William Henry Gates because he is one of the famous entrepreneur and I know some facts about him, so I don't have to find so many facts about him. I used google slides to present my work.

 

The Best Day Of The Summer Holiday

On holiday I spent a lot of time with my family, we did so many fun things and we went to a lot of beautiful places in New Zealand. My grandparents from Philippines and my cousins from Auckland decided to celebrate their Christmas and New Year here with us, we enjoyed it a lot because we barely celebrate this kind of celebration with my whole family. We spend our New Year in Queenstown and we also ride the gondola and it's really fun specially when we saw the beautiful view while riding the gondola , we decided to celebrate there because we want to bring our grandparents to different places here in New Zealand before the went back to the Philippines. We also went to Lake Tekapu and spend one night there, I really enjoy it because that is my first time doing camping here in New Zealand.
             

After spending time with my family, my cousin and grandparents went back in Auckland. I spent the remaining days before the school start by watching movies, I watched some horror and romantic movies, I really love horror movie because for these kind of movies is really cool and interesting. Also I spent some of my time playing with my cousin because since the school year is coming I can't play with them everyday because we all need to study. I also spent a lot of my time playing online games, I played a lot of it some of them called Pubg, mobile legends and more. I really enjoyed my holiday because I have so many chances to went into different places and having a chance to spend my time with my family.

Writing Challenge

A beautiful view of mountain and trees that we can see. There are big and beautiful shapes of mountains with different types of trees.  Different sizes of boats, blue clear water and clean water are the best things that really pretty. Ella sat on the boat because of the beautiful view that she can see from there, she smile and relaxing while scanning the beautiful place. 

Ella was enjoying her vacation because she did a lot of work so she decided to have some time to relax herself. She went here to spend her weekend alone because she thinks that being alone a best way to relax. She start to drive the boat and started to scan the place while smiling to the other people that she can see while wondering. She changed her clothes and jumped into the water to swim, she enjoyed it because the temperature of the water made her feel relaxed.

Swimming happily, enjoying the water, Ella suddenly saw a little girl fall from the boat and got shocked. The parents can't help their child because they don't know how to swim. Ella hesitated to help her since Ella is just learning some few lessons about swimming. She can hear the parents crying and asking for help but she can't do anything because she's scared.

Ella closed her eyes and take a deep breathe, she start to swim towards the girl and hoping the she can save her. Ella successfully bring the little girl back into the boat and the girl stop crying. The parents of the girl thank her and offer her a money but she refused it because she just did the right thing. They chat for awhile and Ella start to swim back to her boat, she's still shocked about what happened but she just ignore it and enjoy the rest of her vacation.

Day 2 SLJ - Sport & Leisure

Hello everyone, today we are going to do a new activity for our summer learning journey, we need to pick another activity that we want to do for today, we already did one activity on Monday. On Monday I picked the activity that we need to make our own profile page about Lorde, and for today I picked the activity that telling us to make a four simile sentences also this activity already gave us some phrases that can help to make up our own sentence so it's more easier now to do this activity.
This is the words/phrases that we can use to make our own sentences:

• ...is beautiful like...

This is the sentences that I make using this phrases;

1. The runner ran as fast as cheetah.
2. His height is as tall as giraffe. 
3.  A marble is as small as a blueberry. 
4. Her face is beautiful like roses.
