Writing Challenge

A beautiful view of mountain and trees that we can see. There are big and beautiful shapes of mountains with different types of trees.  Different sizes of boats, blue clear water and clean water are the best things that really pretty. Ella sat on the boat because of the beautiful view that she can see from there, she smile and relaxing while scanning the beautiful place. 

Ella was enjoying her vacation because she did a lot of work so she decided to have some time to relax herself. She went here to spend her weekend alone because she thinks that being alone a best way to relax. She start to drive the boat and started to scan the place while smiling to the other people that she can see while wondering. She changed her clothes and jumped into the water to swim, she enjoyed it because the temperature of the water made her feel relaxed.

Swimming happily, enjoying the water, Ella suddenly saw a little girl fall from the boat and got shocked. The parents can't help their child because they don't know how to swim. Ella hesitated to help her since Ella is just learning some few lessons about swimming. She can hear the parents crying and asking for help but she can't do anything because she's scared.

Ella closed her eyes and take a deep breathe, she start to swim towards the girl and hoping the she can save her. Ella successfully bring the little girl back into the boat and the girl stop crying. The parents of the girl thank her and offer her a money but she refused it because she just did the right thing. They chat for awhile and Ella start to swim back to her boat, she's still shocked about what happened but she just ignore it and enjoy the rest of her vacation.

Day 2 SLJ - Sport & Leisure

Hello everyone, today we are going to do a new activity for our summer learning journey, we need to pick another activity that we want to do for today, we already did one activity on Monday. On Monday I picked the activity that we need to make our own profile page about Lorde, and for today I picked the activity that telling us to make a four simile sentences also this activity already gave us some phrases that can help to make up our own sentence so it's more easier now to do this activity.
This is the words/phrases that we can use to make our own sentences:

• ...is as fast as...
• ...is as tall as...
• ...is as small as...
• ...is beautiful like...

This is the sentences that I make using this phrases;

1. The runner ran as fast as cheetah.
2. His height is as tall as giraffe. 
3.  A marble is as small as a blueberry. 
4. Her face is beautiful like roses.

SLJ - Day 1

Subject I would like to learn

Today we need to do a blogpost, this blogpost need to show what subject would you like to learn that isn't offered in Hornby High School. For me I think I would love to learn a different language but since we already have Japanese class here I like to do the different one. I like to learn how to speak Korean, this language is the language that I really like to learn how to speak because it's really good. Also I pick this because I want to learn some lessons about how to speak using Korean language,since I just know some basics word like Hello and thank you in Korean, I also like watching Korean Dramas so I like to learn how to speak so I don't have to use a subtitles and to try something new. 

I started to have interest about Korean language because I really like k-pop, and also I like to learn how to speak this language because it's really cool that you can speak different language. Also I want to learn this because maybe soon I can go to Korean and use this language. 

         

Pinecone challenge

Today for our community impact project we are gonna make our own pinecone design, we have a chance to make our own design of pinecone. First thing the we did is we make our planning about what design we are going to make for our pinecone challenge, we need to show our planning to one of the teacher so they can sign in up and we can start decorating our pinecone. For my pinecone I decided to make a simple one, so I decided to make a Christmas Tree since the Christmas is near. I used green paint, glitter paint and I put a pompom at the top of the pinecone as a star in the Christmas Tree. It didn't take me that long because I just need to paint is and use glue gun for the pompom and let it dry for a minute. I will take my pinecone at home so I can put it at my room as a display because it looks like a mini Christmas tree. I really enjoy doing this because we already did it to our art so I know what I'm supposed to do. I really enjoy this activity and I love to do it again.

Kindness Banners

In week 4 we started to do our kindness banners, first we make our planning so we can't make a mess or we can't waste the paint when we do it on the large piece of paper, we also did this activity in groups of 4 or 5 we have 5 people in our group that's why we finish it early. For our banner we decided to make a simple one because we only can make our banner every Wednesday and not all of us can do it because we also need to attend to our passions. Our banner have a simple message saying " A little more kindness, A little less Judgement" we pick this message because we think that is meaningful and helpful to make our banner become more interesting, for our background we just draw a world and paint it, we pick this background because it showing that spreading kindness all over the world. The teachers is going to pick some amazing banners to display to our school and spread kindness to our school, we also gonna display it to our new kahui's to let the other students here in our school about our project and what we are doing for our community impact project. Where would you go?

Kamusta! Today we are gonna write about places that we want to go on holiday, and why we picked that place. I have a lot of choices but I really want to go to France. France is one of the popular and beautiful country in the world, some celebrities is also living there, France is also the place that holding some concert of famous band/singer/celebrities.

I want to go to France because I want to try some new things, one of my friend is currently living and France and when we are talking she always tell some interesting places is France, she also saying that France is pretty place there. I also want to go there to go to the different places, try some foods and I really want to go Eiffel Tower, we all know that this tower is one of the popular tower all over the world, some people that visiting France is always going here to take some pictures and to spend their time there. France is one of the place that I really want to go to and I hope someday I can have a chance to go their with my family/friends.
