The Beatles tour in NZ - Perspectives Blog

In social studies, we have been learning and talking about The Beatles tour in New Zealand. After our lesson about their music we moved on to our next task. Since we are talking about their in New Zealand, this blogpost is perspectives of their tour here. Perspective is about viewpoint or what someone thinks about an event. The Beatles tour in New Zealand can be good and bad in many different ways, also some people are against it. This blogpost will be showing why some people and against it and why it is good for some of them.

Against (Negative)

  • Some people are against in this event because of The Beatles attitude towards some of their fan. They are making some rude comments about sexual of waving fans.
  • A lot of fans hurt themselves and risking their lives just to see The Beatles.
  • The Beatles disrespecting the Maori culture. 
  • Fans climbing on the hotel of the Beatles and not obeying the police rules.
  • One girl slashed her wrist because The Beatles refused an introduction from her. 
  • The concert didn't go well because of how the fans behaving and it didn't went as they planned.

For (Positive)

  • They did their traditional greeting which is the "Haka" they are doing this to greet someone or to those people that is important. 
  • A lot of people thinks that their tour is life changing  because of their influence in New Zealand.

    This blog post that you have made is very good. I like how you wrote about the two different perspective of The Beatles, and also the pictures that you have provided. The two perspectives that you have done clearly shows that The Beatles created more negative things that positive which is very shocking. Also, did you like learning about them?
    Anyways, well done!
